This album is a compilation of tunes reflecting my appreciation for bass and drum grooves, synthesizers, techno and jazz harmony. It is a deviation from the roots blues you hear me perform on my solo gigs.

Since the 1970s I’ve been recording. From then until now the mediums for recording have changed and evolved from reel to reel tape machines to DAWs (digital audio workstations). It’s been a great and unique ride using the gear that has evolved (drum machines, sequencers, and computers) and blending it with traditional instruments (electric and acoustic guitar, bass, drums and percussion). I am having fun and getting a soulful feeling finding projects from 20-30 years ago and transferring them to modern equipment to continue working on them. Oh, and another thing, I have never used a pre-made loop or sample. Every sound on this album was created in-house I.e., drum loops created from my previous recording sessions, drumbeats created from scratch, etc.
